Position: Electrician X1
Salary: To be determined
Location: Khai-Ma Municipality, Northern Cape
Contact Type and Duration: Limited duration contract – Project Construction (up to 6 months), Part Time
Job Description and Requirements:
- Grade 12
- N6 in Electrical Engineer
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Construction Project
- Qualified as an Artisan (Trade Tested), completed both practical and theory (Advantage)
- Candidate registration with ECSA
- Electrical design – MCC, MV / LV experience with construction
- Completed training in Electrical Engineering and / or Energy Engineering.
- Reporting daily activities / tasks: Scope of work, targets, Actuals and outstanding
- Supervision – leading, motivating and teamwork roles
- Experience in major component repairs
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be able to work without Supervision
- Problem solving – Ability to solve problems without Supervision
- Communication – Ability to work with people at different levels within the organization
- Diagnose Electrical faults and repair requirements accurately
- Repair and maintain electrical as assigned
- Comply with the necessary Occupational Health and Safety requirements
- Conduct Risk assessments
